MORRISVILLE, NC - July 23, 2007 - FarPoint Technologies now offers instructional videos with Spanish audio on their support website, www.clubfarpoint.com, to help reinforce successful development by their Spanish-speaking customers. FarPoint is responding to the growing development effort in Spanish-speaking parts of the world, mostly in central and south America.
"Our Spanish-speaking customer base has been growing exponentially, and it is important to keep our support accessible to all of our customers, language barriers aside," notes Product Manager Don Williamson. "We are excited about the response we have been getting in the Spanish-speaking .NET community so far." The opportunity to localize some of their training material is seen as a strategic move for FarPoint to gain more customers in a growing sector of the .NET development community. The decision to provide localized and translated content is seen by FarPoint as an extension of their commitment to their development customers.
The tutorials now available in Spanish cover a range of topics, including "Getting Started with FarPoint Spread" and "Creating Custom Cell Types", and are available online for developers at any level of expertise to assist in successful project development. FarPoint has also said that with more customer feedback, they will make more such tutorials avaiable in Spanish and in other languages. To request a specific video translation, or to have a translation made available in a language besides Spanish or American English, potential customers can contact FarPoint by way of their sales contact or at FPSales@FarPointSpread.com.
