Spread Designer
You can quickly design a spreadsheet control using the Spread Designer, a comprehensive design-time interface which allows you to fully customize the control at design-time. Whether you are prototyping a complete spreadsheet control or simply customizing some aspect of your spreadsheet control, the dedicated graphical interface offers many features to save time and effort. It also provides a way for you to add data to and set properties for the control, including properties that are not available at design time in Visual Studio. You can set both design-time and run-time properties. In most cases you can preview changes before applying them to the spreadsheet. The Spread Designer creates a snapshot of the spreadsheet control. Once all the changes are made, you apply the changes to the spreadsheet control on your form. You can also open files from within Spread Designer and save your design as a file. You can start Spread Designer from inside your Visual Studio .NET project by doing one of the following: Right-click on the Spread control on your form and choose Spread Designer. Select the control on the form, press F4 to display the Properties Window, and select the Spread Designer verb at the bottom of the Properties Window.
