»Spread for Windows Forms » Product Tour » Spans Spans You can combine cells to create a span of cells, as shown in the figure below. Creating a span of cells creates one large cell where there had previously been several. For example, if you create a span of cells from cell B2 to cell D3, cell B2 then appears to occupy the space from cell B2 through cell D3. You can also create cell spans in a header, for example, to make a header for multiple columns or rows, or both, as shown in the figure below.
